Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARY LOUISE BOJKO (nee LUIF) Suddenly, on August 29, 2000 at the Concordia Hospital, Mom left us. She was predeceased by her husband George Bojko; by her brother Hans Luif, and her two sisters, Hilda and Irma. She leaves to mourn her three children, Robert (Elizabeth) Luif, Christine (Wilf) Fabig, Vera (Henry) Ponevas. Mom also leaves her five grandchildren, Ken (Jacqueline) Fabig, Debra (David) Gearey, Jeff (Anita) Luif, Kim (Antono) Subroto and Kristopher Zastre. Mom also leaves behind seven great-grandchildren, Trevor and Ryan Fabig, Joshua and Jenna Gearey, Madison and Meagan Luif, as well as Mustafa Subroto. Mom was born in Schlitters, Austria on March 26, 1925. She came to Canada with her family in 1955 and settled in Winnipeg. She will be greatly missed by her loving family and many dear friends. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be conducted by Rev. Victoria Shaw-Zdanowski on Friday, September 1 at 1:00 p.m. at the Transcona Funeral Chapel, 1800 Day St. Following a reception, she shall be interred beside her beloved husband George, at the Transcona Cemetery. Should friends so desire, memorial donations made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 301-352 Donald St., Winnipeg R3B 2H8, would be greatly appreciated. Transcona Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements.
