Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryELSA ROSPLESCH Peacefully, at Concordia Place Care Centre, on Monday, August 28, 2000 at the age of 87, our beloved mother and Oma passed to eternal rest. Elsa was pre-deceased by her husband Franz in 1959. She was also predeceased by her sister Lydia Kunkel and brother Ernst Kunkel. Elsa is survived by her only son, Martin Rosplesch (Jean), and by her grandson, Christian Rosplesch, all of Ottawa; and by her sisters, Dini Guttek, Mathilde Ott (Paul) and a brother Walter Kunkel (Gisela) dear friend Johanna Koch; and by many nieces and nephews in Canada and numerous cousins in Canada and Germany. Elsa was born on July 14, 1913 in Volyn. In 1949, she emigrated from Germany to Winnipeg, Canada where she married Franz Rosplesch in 1950. Elsa loved her family dearly, and enjoyed travelling, socializing and entertaining friends. She was an active member of Lutheran Church of the Cross, where she was head of the Ladies Aide group for several years. She also volunteered at the Misericordia Hospital for many years. Her funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, September 1, at Lutheran Church of the Cross, 560 Arlington St., Pastor C. Reiners officiating. Viewing prior to the service. Interment to follow at Brookside Cemetery. The family would like to thank the staff of Concordia Place Care Centre for their gracious care to Elsa during her stay.
