Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDENNIS OLIVER POTTINGER Peacefully on August 29, 2000, Dennis Oliver Pottinger passed away at the Health Sciences Centre, Winnipeg. Dennis was born on March 28, 1949, at Eriksdale, Man. He was predeceased by his parents Dora and Lawrence Pottinger and his brothers, Lorne and Everett. Dennis will be sadly missed by his daughter Chelsey Lynn Groening; his sisters, May Gutknecht, Elizabeth (Laurent) Roy of Winnipeg and Wilma (Wayne) Hodgson of Grand Prairie, Alta.; his brothers, Jerry (Bernice), John (Lorraine) of Winnipeg, Neil (Hannah) of Calgary, Alta.; there are numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Dennis will also be missed by his extended family and friends, especially by the "girls." Dennis was currently employed by Breadner Trailers in Winnipeg. He enjoyed spending time with his daughter Chelsey, fishing and camping with the "girls," hunting, canning, cooking and watching wrestling with the gang. Everyone always will remember the long conversations and good times they had at his kitchen table. Viewing will be held on Friday, September 1, at 10:00 a.m. at the Aboriginal Funeral Chapel, 724 Selkirk Ave., Winnipeg, with funeral service beginning at 10:30 a.m. Cremation will follow. Honorary pallbearers will be Marty Barton, Dennis MacDonnel, Dale Chappot, Bill McPherson, Albert Gutknecht and Danny Johanson. In lieu of floral arrangements donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. If friends wish, a flower may be brought and placed on Dennis casket. Dear Dennis I miss you so much honey. I can't believe it is more then 20 year's. I miss our fishing trips, our coffee at the table. Sitting in the yard, garage sales. I miss you my friend. It has been 20 years and I think of you often. I visit you sometimes where you are at rest and I always remember the good times and how good you were to my daughter, Nicole.
