Dads struggle has now ended and he is at rest with our mother. Clarence was predeceased by his wife Irene, on September 22, 1996. His memory will be cherished by his sons, Leroy (Debbie), David (Gloria) his daughter Linda; and his precious grandchildren, Christine, Jennifer, Tanya, Connie, Amanda, Albert, Chelsey and Janelle. He is also survived by his brothers, Gordon and Walter of Winnipeg; his sisters, Edith Kaufman of Winnipeg and Isobel Peters of Beausejour; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, William and Elizabeth; brothers, Sid, Roland, Al; and his sisters, Alice, Myrtle, Ethel and Marjorie. Clarence was born on December 18, 1932 in Smith Siding, MB. He attended school in Smith Siding. He was employed as a Heavy Equipment Operator with many construction companies across Canada for 42 years until his retirement in 1996. Clarences greatest pastimes were playing music and going for rides in the country. His gift for music allowed him to play many different instruments such as the violin, guitar and mandolin. He played at many establishments and family gatherings. He made many friends. He loved to joke and have a good laugh. He cherished his grandchildren and loved to watch them grow. A special thank you to the doctors and nursing staff at the Concordia and Health Sciences Hospitals during our Dads illness. Viewing will take place on Thursday, August 31 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Sobering Funeral Chapel, Beausejour, MB.
