Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJEUNE WILFORD Born September 7, 1916, Saskatoon, SK and died on July 17, 2000 in Kamloops, BC. Mom spent her early years in Surbiton, near Outlook, SK. She attended school in a one room school house and rode her horse "Riley" to school in the summer. She attended nursing school in Winnipeg, graduated an RN and married Joseph H. Wilford June 14, 1941. "The Lady of the Whiteshell" spent many happy years helping Joe build their cottage at Big Whiteshell Lake. She enjoyed fishing and snowmobiling at the lake. Jeune served on the Manitoba Liquor Control Commission. She volunteered many years of service for the N.D.P. in Winnipeg. Survived by her brother Mel Bryce and Cordie of Winnipeg; son Gary Wilford and Ferne of San Juan Bautista, CA; granddaughter Teauna Young and Clyde of Tacoma, WA and granddaughter Kyra Hopson and Mike of 100 Mile House, BC.
