ELMER GEORGE PATTERSON On Thursday, August 31, 2000 at the Hunter Memorial Hospital Teulon, Elmer Patterson, aged 84 years, beloved husband of Vivian Patterson of Teulon, Manitoba. Born August 21, 1916 in Meota, Sask. and came to Teulon as a young boy. He was a veteran of the Second World War, serving overseas with the R.C.A.F. and R.A.F. He instructed at Red River Community College for 15 years. Elmer was a founding member of the Teulon Golf and Country Club, a long time member of the Teulon Game and Fish, loved hunting and fishing and had been an instructor for hunter safety for many years. Surviving besides his wife Vivian; one daughter Sharon White (Derek) of Langley, B.C.; four grandchildren, Jordan, Rebekka, Rachel, Jenica; numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, brothers, Ivan and Alvin and sister Anna. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, September 4 at 2:00 p.m. in the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Teulon. Rev. Marc Whitehead will officiate. Legion Rites at the service. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to the Hunter Memorial Hospital, Teulon, Man. MacKenzie Funeral Home, Teulon in care of arrangements.
