Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCHARLES HENRY MILTON It is with deepest sorrow that we announce the passing of Charles Henry Milton, beloved husband of Mary Milton, on Monday, August 21, 2000 at Riverview Health Center at the age of 81. Charles was born and raised in Foam Lake, Sask., where he completed his education. He spent most of his working life in the food service sector, eventually settling on a career with the railway, working his way into a food service instructor position which he held until his retirement in 1981. He felt fortunate to have had the experience of working on the Royal train when the Queen visited Churchill many years ago. Upon retirement, Charles became busier than ever. As a member of Windsor Park United Church for many years, he volunteered many hours with the Mens Club. He also served as President of the Prendergast Seniors Club, where he will be sadly missed for his famous home-made soup. In his spare time, he enjoyed the country life at the family cottage, always finding something that needed fixing. Left to celebrate his life are Mary, his wife of 57 years; son Robert and wife Sheila; grandchildren, Christopher and Amanda. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Charles life will be held Wednesday, September 6 at Windsor Park United Church at 11:00 a.m.
