ALBERT CARRELLI It is with great sorrow the family announces the sudden passing of Albert (Ab) Carrelli, age 83 years, on August 30, 2000 at the Victoria General Hospital. Left to cherish his memory are his wife Margaret; daughter Carol Baxter, her husband Fred Engler and Alberts special grandson Rick Baxter of Vancouver; sisters, Nena Badali and Lucy Blair; nieces Bernice Herd and Avril West; as well as many great-nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, brother Frank and sister Victoria. Albert worked at the Winnipeg Grain Exchange for Wiley Low & Co. as assistant manager and floor trader. He then worked as an independant floor trader until he formed his own company, Carrelli Grain Co., retiring in 1984. Ab will be sadly missed by family and friends. Albert organized the Bingo nights at the old Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church on Sherbrook to raise funds for the building of the new church on River Avenue. As a result of Alberts instrumental leadership he was given the title of Honorary President. Cremation has taken place and a Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, September 5 at 2:30 p.m. in the Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, 510 River Ave. with Father Ronato Pasinato officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, 301-352 Donald St., R3B 2H8 or to a charity of ones choice. EDWARD J. COUTU FUNERAL DIRECTOR 253-5086
