HELEN TYMKO It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Helen Tymko on Friday, September 1, 2000 at the Beausejour Hospital. Helen, the first born of Jessie and Joseph Zdrill was born in Allegra, MB on December 10, 1909 and had resided at Stony Plains Seniors Residence, Beausejour for the past several years. On June 2, 2000, she was predeceased by her beloved husband Michael, having shared 67 precious years together. She was also predeceased by her parents, sisters Rose Woligrocki and Stella Pocaluko and brother Walter Zdrill. She is survived by her son Donald and his wife Beatrice, their children Lynne (Russell), Timothy (Tannis), Wendy (Bruce), Daniel (Nicole), Susan (Thomas) her son David and his wife Eileen, their children Pamela (Michael), Curtis, and 12 lovely great grandchildren; her sisters Mary Rogoski, Caroline Kabaluk, Nellie Rogocki; also numerous nieces and nephews. Our Mom was a gentle person with unceasing Christian values. Her quiet determination and strong resolve enabled our family to endure the many adverse conditions of our early years. These fine traits were passed down through the generations. Her next of kin, their children and grandchildren all benefited from these character traits. Her love for her family was unconditional - for this, we love you, Mom. Prayers will be said on Tuesday, September 5 at 7:30 p.m. in the Sobering Funeral Chapel, Park Avenue East, Beausejour. Funeral liturgy will be sung on Wednesday, September 6 at 10:30 a.m. at the Holy Ghost Ukrainian Catholic Church, Beausejour with Rev. Fr. John Sholdak, the celebrant. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery. The family wishes to thank the caring staff and all her friends at Stony Plains, also Dr. Fred Zeiler and the very capable, caring staff at the Beausejour District Hospital. If friends so desire, donations may be made to the Beausejour District Hospital. SOBERING FUNERAL CHAPEL & CREMATORIUM, Beausejour, in care of arrangements. 268-3510 or Mb. toll free 1-877-776-2220.
