FILIPPO VACCHIO Peacefully at home in Atripalda Italy, surrounded by love on Friday, September 1, 2000, Filippo Vacchio, age 69, beloved husband and best friend of Rosa. Filippo will be lovingly remembered by daughters, Anna Maria (Giovanni) Moccia of Atripalda Italy and Lucia (Donato) Puppo of Avellino Italy ; also his grandchildren, Danilo and Furio Moccia of Atripalda Italy and Selvaggia, Luana and William Puppo of Avellino Italy. Filippo was predeceased by his parents, Decio and Lucia Vacchio. Filippo will be dearly missed by his six brothers, Guiseppe (Conziglia) Vacchio of Ottawa, Tony (Rita) Vacchio of Oklahoma, Michele (Italia) Vacchio, Aniello (Gerarda) Vacchio, Gugliermo (Marisa) Vacchio, Aurelio (Anna) Vacchio all of Winnipeg and one sister Maria (Tonino) Giordano of Avellino Italy. Filippo had worked as a furniture craftsman for over 30 years in Italy. He was a fun loving and devoted husband and father. Filippo was a very generous man who always put others needs ahead of his own. Prayers will be held on Wednesday, September 6 at 7:30 p.m. at Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, 510 River Ave.
