LOUIS MERCIER Peacefully, with his family by his side, Mr. Louis Mercier, aged 82 years, beloved husband of Germaine of Ste. Rita, MB, passed away on Sunday, September 3, 2000 at the Beausejour Hospital. He will be sadly missed by his wife Germaine; his son Roger (Dale) of Ste. Rita, MB and his daughter Rose (Robert Laba) of Winnipeg, MB; five grandchildren, Roberta (Colin Gale), Robin and Robert Jr., Keith and Kyle; his brother Celestin; also many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Emile & Juliette and three brothers, Rene, Arsene, and Simeon. Louis served overseas during the Second World War with the Winnipeg Regiment. Prayers, followed by funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, September 6 at 10:00 a.m. in the Ste. Rita Roman Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Belanger, the celebrant. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery. The family wishes to thank the Drs. and nursing staff of the Beausejour Hospital for their care and kindness.
