Born in Fort Frances, Ontario on February 7, 1949. Jane Ann was predeceased by her husband Carson on June 31, 1998; her son Barry on August 28, 1998; her parents, Daniel and Margaret Crowe; her paternal grandparents, Fred and Agnes Crowe; her maternal grandparents, Charles and Ann Jane Bruyere. Jane Ann leaves behind her family: sons, Andrew and William; siblings, Gerry, Mary Ellen, Heather, Robert, Kelvin (Donna), Danny (Shawne), Janet (Brian) sister-in-law Connie; brothers-in-law, Don (Donna), Ted (Linda), Gary (Cheryl) as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Jane Ann was a successful career woman until her mid thirties when she switched roles and became a foster parent. A position she performed with all the passion and vigor of a senior executive, but with a lot more heart. Jane Anns greatest joy was when Billy, Barry and Andy became her and Carsons boys. Family times were the best, especially the frequent visits to their cabin. Jane Ann was an intellectual person who kept on top of political and social issues - she enjoyed a good debate. Her creativity was expressed through many craft activities, but her work with deer and moose hides was a favourite. Jane Ann will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered. In this universe nothing is ever wholly lost. That which is excellent remains forever a part of this universe. Human hearts are dust, but the love which moves the human heart abides to bless the last generation Ralph Waldo Emmerson A memorial service will be held in Fort Frances, Ontario.
