JONATHAN DALE WIEBE B.Sc., M.D., C.C.F.P. February 12, 1963 - August 30, 2000 With dignity and courage Jonathan left this earth at the age of 37 after a nine year journey with cancer. He is survived by his wife Dolores and son Nickolas; parents, Ben and Nettie Wiebe, Winkler; sister Roberta Wiebe, brother-in-law Jacques Chenier and nephew Marco, Winnipeg and their families. A public service celebrating Jonathans life will be held on Tuesday, September 5 at 6:30 p.m at the Bethel Mennonite Church, 870 Carter at Stafford. As a legacy for his young son Nickolas, a book of memories is being created. The family would appreciate anecdotes from anyone who has been touched by Jonathans life. Contributions will be accepted at the public celebration or may be sent in care of FGEMC, 602 Pasadena, Winnipeg, MB R3T 2S9. Donations in memory of Jonathan may be made to any of the following, MCC Canada, a scholarship at the College of Medicine or a trust fund for his son Nickolas. The family wishes to thank Jonathans dedicated care givers, Dr. David Young and Dr. Chris Bourque. Arrangements entrusted to Klassen Funeral Chapel, 338-0331.
