Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySTELLA GRACE OFFER It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved mother and grandmother Grace Offer, who passed away peacefully Friday, September 1, 2000 at St. Boniface General Hospital at the age of 86. She was predeceased by her husband Birt and her brother Alf. Grace will be remembered lovingly by her son Ron and daughter Carol; son-in-law Murray Wilkins and grandson Matthew Offer; her brother Frank Beavis and his wife Gladys; sister-in-law Alice Beavis; nieces, nephews and friends. Mom lived independently with the assistance of the Health Care Services, family, friends and clergy. She was a long time member of the Norwood United Church and the UCW Womens Group. Mom loved tending her considerable flower and vegetable gardens. She enjoyed Blue Jay Baseball and she was an avid bowler. She participated in three bowling leagues; Greenlee Mixed Bowling League for (35 years), Norwood Ladies League and the Eatons Retirement League. She was very active and involved in the Norwood Community. Her spirit is with us always. The family would like to extend their thanks to the Home Care workers and the staff at St. Boniface General Hospital for their kindness and care. Viewing will be held on Wednesday, September 6 from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Leatherdale Gardiner Funeral Chapel, 232 Kennedy St. Funeral Service in Celebration of Graces life will be held Thursday, September 7 at 11:00 a.m. also in the chapel. Interment will follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, 4000 Portage Ave. In lieu of flowers if friends so desire, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation 301-352 Donald Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba R3B 2H8 or to the Norwood United Church Memorial Fund, 160 St Marys Rd.
