BABY CALISTA WOODS - SLUSARENKO It is with great sadness that Melanie Slusarenko and Steven Woods announce the passing of their beloved daughter, Calista Avery Woods, who died peacefully in her sleep during the early hours of Sunday, September 3, 2000, at the age of eight weeks. In addition to her parents, Calista will be missed greatly by her sisters, Tess, Victoria, Ashley; brother Julian; grandma Connie Morua of Indiana; grandparents, Marianne and Michael Slusarenko; great-grandparents, Leona and Joseph Slusarenko; great-grandma Teenie Kwasnicki; great-grandparents, Baleriano and Julia Ramirez of Texas; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Calista was predeceased by her grandpa Earl Grant Woods and great-grandpa John Kwasnicki. There will be a funeral service at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, September 8 in the Thomson Funeral Chapels, 669 Broadway, with the Rev. Fr. G. Ward officiating. Viewing will be held one hour prior to the service. Cremation will follow the service. The family wishes to extend their heart-felt gratitude to the ambulance attendants, doctors, nurses and staff of the Childrens Hospital for their efforts to save Calista.
