EDNA HAY Edna Hay passed away at Shuswap Lake General Hospital, Salmon Arm, BC on Saturday, September 2, 2000. Edna was predeceased by her beloved husband Gordon. She will be sadly missed by her sons, Gerald and daughter-in-law Ruth of Salmon Arm and Robert of Vancouver; five grandchildren. Also surviving are two brothers, Donald and Keith; sisters, Margaret, Elsie and Shaddie. Edna married Gordon Hay and together they farmed near Austin for a number of years before going into the farm equipment business. Due to Gordons ill health, they relocated to Vancouver in 1975. After residing in Vancouver for a number of years where they were involved in apartment management, they retired. Shortly thereafter Gordon passed away and Edna moved to Salmon Arm where she has since resided. She was a special mother with an unqualified love for her family and will be sorely missed and never forgotten. A service of remembrance will be held from the First United Church, Salmon Arm on Wednesday, September 6 at 11;00 a.m. In memory of Edna, contributions may be made to the BC Heart & Stroke Foundation, 2nd floor, 1212 - West Broadway, Vancouver.
