Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHARRIET SQUIRES (nee LUDMAN) Harriet passed away peacefully in her sleep, with her family by her side, at Tuxedo Villa on September 2, 2000. She is lovingly remembered by her daughters, Isabelle (George) Kelly of Toronto, Roberta (Stephen) Franklin, Dolores (Gordon) Hawkins; son-in-law Ken Catton; sisters, Rose Seeley of Dauphin, Vi McDougall of Osoyoos, BC; ten grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grand-children. She was predeceased by her husband, Bob; daughter, Doreen; mother, father, and three brothers. Harriet was born and raised in Glenella, Man., moving to Winnipeg in 1943 to raise their family. She will be fondly remembered for her ready smile, cheerful disposition, and sociable personality. In recent years, she dealt with Alzheimers disease, but always had a positive attitude. Pallbearers will be her grandsons and great-grandsons. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 7 at 12:30 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Viewing will be one half hour prior to service time. Interment will follow in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. Reception to follow at the Chapel Lawn Reception Centre. The family would like to thank the staff on Station One at Tuxedo Villa for their kindness and the compassionate care that they gave to our Mom.
