LARRY LAWRENCE WOWRYK Larry was born Tuesday, March 24, 1953 at St. Boniface, Winnipeg, Man. He moved to Snow Lake in 1972 to work for the Hudson Bay Mining and Smelting Company, there he met Charlyn Ramstead and they were married in 1974. Larrys family always came first. He always had his daily coffee visit with his mother-in-law, Evelyn. Larry enjoyed snowmobiling, card playing, fishing trips and spent quality time with his brothers and in-laws, golfing. Larry passed away, Friday, August 25, 2000 at the age of 47 years at the Winnipeg Health Sciences Centre with his wife at his side. Larry leaves to mourn, his wife Charlyn; daughter Deborah; mother Jean; brothers, Ron, Randy (Crystal) mother-in-law Evelyn; in-laws, Ernie, Merlyn (Jack), Carolyn (Dennis) nieces, Lee-Ann (Ken), Cayliegh, Wendy (Kevin), Candy; nephews, Brian, Jason (Karry), Denis Jr.; great-nieces, Meredith, Margot; great-nephew Kristjan and numerous aunts, uncles and other relatives. He was predeceased by his father Stanley, 1960; grandfather Steve, 1980; grandmother Ann, 1996; father-in-law Morrel, 1986 and brother-in-law Dwayne, 1978. A Service of Remembrance was held Wednesday, August 30 at 1:00 p.m. at the Elks Hall, Snow Lake, Man. with Pastor Larry Schmaltz presiding. Music Ministry, David Hart pianist and Lola LeClair, soloist. Immediately following the service, family and friends gathered in the lower level of the Royal Canadian Legion Hall, Snow Lake for a time of fellowship. Honorary Pallbearers were all Larrys friends and co-workers. If friends so desire, donations to the Childrens Wish Foundation, 350 St. Mary Ave., Winnipeg, MB, R3C 3J2 would be appreciated by Larrys family.
