DOROTHY PEARL KNOX (HUSACK) (nee CLAYDON) Passed away on September 3, 2000 after a struggle with cancer. She was born September 19, 1922. She will be sadly missed by her husband Norm, her son Glen and his wife Gloria, her son Jim and his wife Charlotte, her brother Charlie and his wife Phyllis, her sister Jean and her husband Al, and her sister Louise and her husband Gordon. Dorothy was predeceased by her first husband Mike Husack in 1977; her mother and father, Mabel and Frank; and her brother Richard whose wife Vi still lives in Winnipeg. Dorothy will also be sadly missed by four grandchildren, Graham, Brenda, Marnie and Andrea; and three great-grandchildren, Paul, Dana, and Gunnar. Dorothy was raised around Monominto, where she married and later moved to Winnipeg in the 1940s. She raised her family in Winnipeg and then moved to Osoyoos, B.C. in the 1970s for retirement. Dorothy has many friends in both Osoyoos and Manitoba. A memorial service was held on September 6 from the Osoyoos Legion Hall. Donations accepted to the Cancer Society, Box 802, Osoyoos, B.C.
