OLIVE MURON CRERAR It is with great sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of Olive Muron Crerar on September 6, 2000 at Deer Lodge Centre. Olive was predeceased by her husband Russell on November 12, 1995; her son John on February 1, 1999; and her seven sisters and one brother. Left to carry on her memory is her daughter Cheryl (John) Busch and her grandchildren, Becky, Grady, and Erin Busch, Tracy (Kevin) Wauchope; her great-grandson, Samuel Wauchope; her good friend Irene along with numerous nieces and nephews. Mum is greatly known for her years as a nursery school teacher, The Busy Beaver Kindergarten. She was also a humanitarian in that she opened up her home to foster children for many years. Mum also taught Sunday school in Melville, Kindersley, Watrous, Saskatoon and Winnipeg. The family would like to extend a special thank you to all the staff at Deer Lodge Centre who took special care of Mum. In lieu of flowers, friends so wishing may make donations in Olives memory to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, the Deer Lodge Centre, or to the S.P.C.A. Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 9, at 3:00 p.m. from Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Interment will follow in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens.
