JANELLE McCRINDLE Peacefully, after a courageous battle, we announce the sudden passing of Janelle Dawn McCrindle, beloved daughter, sister, granddaughter and friend on Wednesday, September 6, 2000 at the young age of 18 years. Janelle touched the hearts of all she knew by so generously giving selflessly to others. Janelles dream was to share the gift of speech with the hearing impaired. She devoted her young life to the study of American Sign Language in hopes of becoming an interpreter. She will be lovingly remembered by her parents, Tim and Claudette; sister Roxanne; brother Michael; grandparents, Claude and Alda Leclerc, John and Doreen McCrindle, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and many special close friends. Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, September 9 at 11:00 a.m. in the St. Bernadette Roman Catholic Church, Cottonwood and Drake with Father Isaie Blanchette presiding. Viewing will be held at 10:00 a.m. prior to Mass. The family would like to extend sincere thanks to all tender loving and compassionate caregivers at St. Boniface General Hospital. Flowers are gratefully declined. Donations may be made to the Manitoba School for the Deaf, 242 Stradford St., Winnipeg, MB, R2Y 2C9. Like an angel, she came from heaven above. She shared her compassion, her pain, her love. She only stayed with us long enough to teach The world to share, to give, to reach. The Desjardins Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements, 233-4949 or toll free 1-888-233-4949.
