HELEN ELIZABETH MULVEY It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Helen Mulvey of Teulon, Man. on September 6, 2000 after a courageous battle with cancer. Helen is survived by her loving husband Leonard; daughters, Geri Hogg (Brian), Heather Beck (George), Valerie Hunter (Bruce) sons, Terry (Cindy), Craig (Tanis) son-in-law Don Day as well as 11 grandchildren; her sister Marrina McDougall (Ken). Helen was predeceased by her daughter Patricia Day and her parents, Charles and Frances Larry. Family and friends were the centre of Moms life. She loved flowers, her housework and her dog Riley. She always had a keen interest in the sports her children and grandchildren were involved in. Mom will be sadly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Helens life will be held at the Balmoral Community Hall (Government Road Allowance, Balmoral, Man.) at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, September 9. A private family interment has been held in the family plot at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. Honorary pallbearers will be Helens six grandsons, Jason and Aaron Hogg, Adam and Eric Day, Warren and Lee Mulvey. The family wishes to express a sincere thank you to the doctors and support staff of the Teulon Hunter Memorial Hospital as well as the many relatives and friends for all their care, kindness and compassion. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Helen to the Teulon Hunter Memorial Hospital. "God saw you getting tired, when a cure was not to be, so He closed his arms around you and whispered "Come To Me." You didnt deserve what you went through So He took you home to rest. Gods garden must be beautiful for He only takes the best." Kerrs Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements, ph. 943-6688.
