ANGELINE (TOOTS) La RIVIERE On Thursday, September 7, 2000, at the Foyer Valade, Angeline, beloved wife of the late Alphonse La Riviere, passed away at the age of 92 years. Predeceased by her husband Alphonse in 1977; one sister and seven brothers, she leaves to cherish her memory two sons and one daughter, Denys (Jeanne), Rene and Lucille (Andre La Rochelle) one granddaughter Lise and eight grandsons, Francois (Veronique), Bernard (Louanne), Serge et Gaetan La Rochelle, Marc (Korrina), Stephane, Philippe and Christian La Riviere; two great-grandchildren, Zacharie and Jean-Luc Loiselle. She also leaves two sisters, Gertrude Poirier and Sr. Eva Pelletier, F.D.L.C. Toots was a longtime member and supporter of the Cercle Moliere until the time of her death. In recognition she had been named "Marraine Honoraire" of this well-known theatre group. Prayers will take place at 9:00 p.m. on Friday, September 8 at Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 Des Meurons St. Funeral Service will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, September 9 at the Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, 778 Archibald St. Interment will follow at Green Acres Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be six grandchildren. Special thanks to all the staff at Foyer Valade for the excellent care Mom received.
