STEPHEN EDMOND LAING Suddenly on Tuesday, September 5, 2000 Stephen Laing, beloved husband of Roselyn, father of Brian and Stewart (Kim Stark) son of Helen Laing of Scotland; brother of George (Rose) and Christopher (Valerie) both of Scotland; son-in-law of Helen and Jackie Hastings of Scotland; brother-in-law to Lesley (Pete), John (Fiona) and Brian. Stephen also leaves numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and close niece Susan of Scotland, passed away at the age of 50 years. Stephen was predeceased by his father William. Stephen had been employed most of his life as a Registered Psychiatric Nurse. He made many special and dear friends since he made Canada his home in 1990. Stephen loved animals and will be sadly missed by his dog Sheena and the rest of "The Gang". In keeping with Stephens wishes of cremation, a Funeral Service to celebrate his life will be held on Tuesday, September 12 at 11:00 a.m. from Green Acres Funeral Chapel, Hwy. #1 East at Green Acres Lane.
