PHILIP FELIX CHMIELOWIEC On Tuesday, July 18, 2000 at the Seven Oaks General Hospital, Philip, age 84 years, beloved husband of Helen of Winnipeg. Philip was born on January 13, 1916 in Winnipeg, was raised and resided here his entire life. Over the years, he worked as a sewing operator for Stirling Cloak Manufacturing Company and then for the International Ladies Garment Workers Union, retiring in 1978. He was a lifelong member of St. Marys Polish National Catholic Church. Remaining to forever cherish Philips memory are his wife Helen of 56 years of marriage; three children, Ted and his wife Jo-Anne; Phyllis Read and her husband Barry; and Chester; two grandchildren, Jessica and Amanda and by Philips special niece Joanne Briggs. He was predeceased by his brother Theodore and sister Kassie Bangart and her husband John. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, September 16 at 11:00 a.m., in St. Marys Polish National Catholic Church, 361 Burrows Avenue with interment following in St. Marys Polish National Catholic Cemetery.
