MITCHELL (MIKE) MELDOWYCH 1918 - 2000 Peacefully, after a brief illness, at the Concordia Hospital on September 6, 2000 at the age of 82 years. Mike was predeceased by his mother Tena; his son Bernie (daughter-in-law Rose-Marie) his brothers, Steve and John and his sister Cecile. Mike leaves to mourn his passing his loving wife of 50 years Mary; daughters, Mildred (Mark) Woznesensky, Linda Rogoz; son Glen, and his grandchildren, Carrie, Jason, Marlo and Trevor. Dad was employed at C.N.R. until his retirement in 1983. In his younger years, Dad loved to fish and hunt with his friends. He enjoyed tending to his garden, doing the grocery shopping and taking his grandchildren with him. Dad will always remain in our hearts as a kind, generous, giving and humble man who was always willing to help us at a moments notice no matter what the task. A service in Mikes memory will be held on Monday, September 11 at 11:00 a.m. with viewing at 10:30 a.m. in Green Acres Funeral Chapel, Hwy. No. 1 East at Navin Road.
