Over the years Mom worked in the garment trade industry first with Freed and Freed and later with Gaspard and Sons. Moms favourite pastimes were knitting, crocheting and needlepoint. She made many beautifully designed afghans and cushions and created many Ukrainian traditional pieces from tablecloths to blouses for family and friends. She truly enjoyed being a part of the Womens League at her church and spent many hours making perogies and baking for various church events. Mom enjoyed spending time with her Seniors Group and taking part in the many outings they participated in. Many thanks to all of Moms doctors and especially to the staff of 3 East at Riverview Health Centre for their compassionate care, support and understanding during Moms stay.
