ELLA MARY ROBERTSON Ella Robertson, wife of the late Bill Robertson, passed away September 5, 2000 at the age of 88 at Deer Lodge Centre in Winnipeg. Ella will be lovingly remembered by her brother Bruce Atwater and sister-in-law Ellen of Bemidji, North Dakota; her sister Alberta and brother-in-law Alvin Johnston of Warroad, North Dakota; her nieces and nephews and many special friends. Ella was a 50-year member of the Order of the Eastern Star and Past Matron of Fort Garry Chapter #17. In 1970, she was Grand Representative to Rhode Island. As well, she was a long time member of the Khartum Ladies Auxiliary. She will be remembered by her many friends for her cheerful disposition. Throughout her life, she enjoyed the company of others, children, gardening, travel and creative pursuits such as knitting and crocheting. A service of remembrance will be held on Monday, September ll, at 3:00 p.m. at Deer Lodge Centre, 2109 Portage Avenue on Lodge 4. Thanks to the staff of 4 East at Deer Lodge Centre for their care in recent months. Friends who wish to do so, may make a donation in Ellas memory to a charity of their choice.
