BERNICE GEORGE (nee WRUBLOWSKY) Peacefully, on Friday, September 8, 2000, at the St. Boniface Hospital, Bernice passed into the Lords promised reward. Bernice leaves to mourn her passing, her beloved husband, Wilf; her children, Jason, of New York City, and Leyda (Tim) Thalman; brother-in-law, Father Mark George; brothers, Mike (Donna) Wrublowsky and Peter (Mary) Wrublowsky, and close friends, Bob and Betty Walker. Bernice began her dedicated career in X-ray technology at the St. Boniface Hospital in 1955 and left as chief technologist in 1968 to raise her children. She retired from Radiology Consultants in 1997 after another 16 years of service. Bernice possessed the wonderful gift of working with people. She will be remembered for her unending smile by all who were fortunate to share her path. Bernices family would like to express heartfelt thanks to family and friends for their support and kindness. We would also like to thank Radiology Consultants, Victoria General Oncology, and the Palliative Team at the St. Boniface Hospital for their compassion and exceptional care. Funeral services will be held at the St. Bernadette Roman Catholic Church, 820 Cottonwood Rd. in Windsor Park, on Tuesday, September 12. Father Mark George will celebrate the Mass of the Resurrection at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to do so may make a donation in Bernices memory to the Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, R3C 9Z9.
