MANUEL FRANCISCO PEREIRA Peacefully on Saturday, September 9, 2000, Manuel passed away. His courage and humour will be long remembered. Manuel is survived by his beloved wife Elisa; sons, Emmanuel, Nelson and daughter-in-law Jacquelin, Mike; daughter Grace and son-in-law Jose; grandchildren, Jason, Christine, Joshua, Stephanie, Kira; sisters, Aura (Ernesto), Lorena (Orlando) many brothers and sisters in law, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Ernesto; parents, Manuel and Virginia. Manuel was born on March 23, 1931 in Portugal, Ponta Del Gada. He came to Canada on April 4, 1957. Manuel was employed by Versatile New Holland for 30 years. Prayers will be said on Tuesday, September 12, at 8:00 p.m. at St. Peters Roman Catholic Church, 748 Keewatin St. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, September 13, at 10:00 a.m. also at St. Peters Parish with Msgr. Maurice Comeault, P.H.,V.F. officiating. Interment will follow in Assumption Cemetery. Our family wishes to express our sincere appreciation to the paramedics who were called and the staff at Seven Oaks Hospital.
