GARTH CARLO GUSBERTI It is with unexplainable sadness that we announce the passing of an exceptional husband and father; a wonderful man. On Wednesday, September 6, 2000, Garth passed away after a courageous battle with cancer. His unique character and humour stayed with him throughout and will always be remembered. He leaves to mourn his loving wife and best friend Jennie and his two devoted children, Jennifer and Chris, supported by Ashleigh and Kristen. He will be deeply missed by his mother Iris Gusberti; his brother Grant (Brenda) in-laws, William and Regina Jemielity; brother-in-law Ed (Kim) sister-in-law Donna (Bob) nieces, Nicole and Sara; nephews, Garthr, Ryan and James. Garth was predeceased by his father Carlo in 1988. Garth was employed with the Canadian Wheat Board for 27 years where he developed lasting friendships. His career took him through many facets of the Grain Transportation Division up to his appointment as Director, Seaboard Operations. Garth loved to golf, watch those Bombers and Goldeyes and travel with his family and friends. In keeping with Garths wishes of cremation, a memorial service to celebrate his life will be held on Monday, September 11 at 1:00 p.m. in the Thomson Funeral Chapels, 669 Broadway with Reverend Dawn Ballantine-Dickson officiating.
