WYTZE DE JONG (WIJTZE) or (JOHN) It is with deep sorrow that we, the family of Wytze De Jong, announce his sudden passing on September 8, 2000. He will always be remembered by his special common-law wife, Ada Grosse, who has taken such good care of him through many illnesses over the past 14 years. He will be so sadly missed by his children: Deanna (Jim), Daniel (Kathleen), David (Sharon), Darwin (Mary) and grandchildren: Dalton, Madyson, Alivia, Christian, Morgan, Ricky, Michaela, Matthew and Austin. Wytze is survived by his sister Jannie (Ian), brother Gerrit (Kathleen), sister Willie (Edward), brother Johann (Madeleine), brother Frederick and brother-in-law Larry Ober; nieces and nephews: Gordon, Sonia, Christopher, Gary, Caroline, Corinne and Sean. He will also be missed by his many good friends at the Henderson Branch No. 215 Legion where he and Ada shared many wonderful evenings together. Flowers are gratefully declines. Donations to the Cancer Society may be made if so desired. "You will be forever loved and missed, Dad" The Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 12 at 1:30 p.m. in the Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 Des Meurons Street, with viewing from 1:00 p.m. until time of service.
