ELIZABETH VARGA Peacefully, on Saturday, September 9, 2000, Elizabeth Varga, age 82 years, passed away at the Concordia Hospital. Left to cherish her memory are, daughter Elizabeth and son-in-law Jozsef Szabo of Birds Hill; two grandchildren, Leslie(Debbie) Szabo and Kathy (Glenn) Deley, both of Winnipeg; three great-grandchildren: Colin, Kyle and Keith as well as several relatives and many friends in Winnipeg and Hungary. Elizabeth was predeceased by her husband Janos Varga on June 28, 1971 and her son Bela Varga on August 8, 1980, her mother and three sisters. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, September 13 at 1:00 p.m. with viewing one half hour before the service at the Seventh Day Adventist Church, 1314 Henderson Hwy. with Pastor Jeff Potts officiating. Interment will follow in Brookside Cemetery. Pallbearers will be, Glenn Deley, Les Szabo, Randy and Jakab Artednesz, Peter Wiebeis, Deni Papp and Louis Witinger.
