Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWILLIAM (BILL) McINTYRE Peacefully on Sunday, September 10, 2000, Bill McIntyre, a long-time resident of Lions Place, passed away at the Grace Hospital. Bill will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his sweetheart of 59 years May (Bodley), his daughter Gail Fyfe (Irv Vrooman) and his son Robert McIntyre (Eadie). Dad was very proud of his grandchildren Chris Fyfe, Cameron Barker-Fyfe (Michael), John McIntyre (Linda) and Kathy Drury (Sheldon). His great-grandchildren Kyle, Erik, Donnie and Jessica were a source of great joy. He was a very special Uncle Bill to many. He was predeceased by sisters Margaret and Helen and brothers Harry, Jack and Donald. Bill was born on Luxton Avenue in Winnipeg on May 7, 1914. Dad served with pride in the R.C.A.F. as a Flight Sergeant during World War ll. Following the war, he worked for Winnipeg Electric, Beaver Lumber and eventually joined his brother Jack at Comfort Manufacturing and travelled throughout Western Canada for many years making friends wherever he went. The family wishes to thank the Charleswood Care Home and the Grace Hospital for their kindness to Dad. Dad will always be remembered for his sense of humour, charm and the twinkle in his eye by all who knew him. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Sept.. 14, 2000 at 11:00 a.m. in the Thomson Funeral Chapels, 669 Broadway. Flowers are gratefully declined.
