WILLIAM (BILL) SCHWARTZ On September 8, 2000, at Grace Hospital, Bill Schwartz peacefully passed away. Bill leaves to mourn his loving wife Florence; his son Jim (Pat) his favourite girls, Jean and Jill Schwartz; his sister Freda McCann; his brother Edward (Hilda) Schwartz and sister-in-law Hilda Schwartz. Bill was predeceased by his parents, Conrad and Katherine Schwartz; his brother Conrad Schwartz and brother-in-law Joseph McCann. The family wishes to thank the doctors, nurses and all the caring staff at Grace Hospital on 5N, Pastor Buck, our church members and all our friends and relatives for many prayers, cards and visits to the hospital during those difficult days. Flowers are gratefully declined. Donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 301-352 Donald Street, Winnipeg, R3B 2H4. Pallbearers are Conrad Schwartz, Matthew Atkinson, Bryan Schnell,. Robert Schnell, Peter Schnell and Rudy Bergen. Viewing will be held at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue on Wednesday, September 13, from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held at St. James Lutheran Church, Hamilton and Cavalier, Thursday, September 14, at 1:30 p.m. with Pastor Buck officiating.
