LLOYD JAMES SINCLAIR April 10, 1936 - September 11, 2000 On the evening of Monday, September 11, 2000 at 8:21 p.m., Lloyd passed away quickly and yet very peacefully at the age of 64 at the Percy E. Moore Hospital in Hodgson, MB. Lloyd was predeceased by his mother Ellen Sinclair (Cook) and father Andrew J. Sinclair; sisters, Carrie Todoruk, Jeanette, and baby grandson Matthew James Munro. Lloyd leaves to forever cherish his memory his wife Nellie May (of 42 years), children, Liz (Stephen), Billy (Charlotte), Mindy (Jerry), Leslie (Susanne) and grandchildren, Jynx, Ginny, Tracy, Jonathan, Mike, Les, Cole, Kelsey and Kane. He also leaves to mourn his sister Ethel McKay; numerous nieces and nephews, and stepmother Ruth Sinclair. Lloyd will be fondly remembered by his special niece Loretta and Darrell (who was like a son to him). He will be sadly missed by his many coffee buddies. Lloyd was born at Tommys Point on April 10, 1936. He lived in Peguis for most of his life. Over his lifetime besides farming he worked at Pine Falls, drove the school bus for Peguis and operated his own trucking business, until his passing. He was an avid supporter of charities, especially two foster children in Kenya. He loved sports, and being outdoors. He spent countless weekends hunting, fishing and golfing. A special thank you to the doctors and nurses and other staff at Percy E. Moore Hospital for their support and kindness. Prayers were held at 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 13 at St. Matthews Anglican Church, Peguis. The funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, September 14 also at St. Matthews Anglican Church. Rev. W. Barrett, Rev. Barry Bear officiating. Pallbearers will be Gordie Stranger, Chris Stranger, Lawrence Asham, Len Huff, Arthur Cochrane and Clarence Sinclair. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Foundation.
