Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDANIEL JOSEPH PATENAUDE June 28, 1964 - September 11, 2000 It is with deepest regrets we announce the passing of Danny (Professor) Patenaude on September 11, 2000 at the age of 36 years. In the presence of family, Danny peacefully passed away after a lengthy illness. Danny has left to mourn uncle Charlie (Mabel) aunt Marie (Ben), aunt Lucie (Paul), aunt Laurie (Amedee), aunt Rose and Verna; godchild Troy, and numerous cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his mother Simone (Patenaude) grandparents, Lauriat and Marie (Patenaude) and numerous aunts and uncles. Danny was born in Ste. Rose du lac and was raised by his grandparents until their passing. After that he was raised by his aunt Laurie. Special mention to his uncle Amedee who cared for him in his last years. Although Danny lived a short life it was a full life. And everyone who knew him instantly loved him. He greeted people with open arms and always kept them open for them. Danny loved his nieces and nephews, and always had gifts for them on special occasions. He would always have a smile and laugh to share with others around him. The family would like to send special thanks to Sister Bernadette and the Sr. of Sion for the prayers and support which helped the family. Also thanks to the Health Sciences Centre staff (various wards) for their support. Visitation 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Sunday, September 17, at Bardal Funeral Chapel. Funeral service 10:00 a.m. Monday, September 18, at Bardal Funeral Chapel, 843 Sherbrook Street, with Reverend Father D. Kerbrat officiating. Interment Brookside Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Todd, Charlie, Eric, Keith, Claude and Medic. Gods Promise God didnt promise Days without pain Laughter without sorrow or sun without rain. But God did promise Strength for the tears And a light for the way. And for all who believe in his kingdom above He answers their faith with everlasting love.
