Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEVELYN ALICE ARBUCKLE (nee HOLMES) Evelyn Alice Arbuckle passed away at her residence, the Middlechurch Home of Winnipeg on Friday, September 8, 2000. She was predeceased by her husband Lorne Stewart and her brother Jack. Evelyn was employed by the Royal Bank of Canada for several years. She also served three years with the Canadian Womens Army Corps. Evelyn was very active in the Boy Scout movement for many years, having a cub pack at St. Stephens Church for 17 years. She was a dedicated volunteer for the Red Cross for 25 years and was very active in Seniors Clubs. Ev was very fond of playing bridge and in her younger days participated in all sorts of sports. Cremation has taken place and at Evelyns request a family memorial service will take place at the graveside in Binscarth, MB. If friends so desire, donations may be made in her memory to the charity of their choice.
