CATHERYN MAGDA-LYNN SWIDERSKI February 12, 1952 - September 14, 2000 After a long and courageous battle with cancer and its related illnesses, Catheryn passed away peacefully at the age of 48 years. She was predeceased by her father Steve and grandmother Katherina both of whom she adored and missed dearly. She leaves to mourn her passing and cherish her memory her loving husband and soul mate of 30 years John; her mother Mabel; her faithful canine companion Corkie; her life long friend Doreen and her nieces and nephews. In respect with Catheryns wishes other surviving family members shall remain anonymous. The family wish to thank all of the many health care professionals that have cared for Catheryn over the past 11 years of her illness. Special thanks to the Doctors and Nursing staff at the I.C.U. and 5th floor medical ward and the pastoral care personnel at the Grace General Hospital. Your kindness and compassion at a very difficult time was greatly appreciated. In accordance with Catheryns wishes cremation has taken place and there will not be any services held. Although Catheryn loved flowers, she absolutely adored animals and therefore would have appreciated that in lieu of flowers, friends and family wishing to do so make a donation to the Humane Society in her memory. "The time of my departure has come, I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I Have kept the faith".
