Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or Memory(AGNES) THELMA PARKER (ROBERTS) (nee PARKIN) It is with great sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of Thelma Parker on Monday, September 11, 2000. Thelma will be greatly missed and always remembered by her three daughters, Leslie, Catherine and Laura and her special niece, Barbara Stephens. She will be dearly missed by her sons-in-law, Ken, Mac, David and her eight grandchildren, Reagan, Stuart, Graham, Carson, Lesley, Glen, Ted and Colleen. Thelma was predeceased by her second husband Stuart Parker in 1997 and her first husband Les Roberts in 1980. She is also survived by her brother Jack Parkin and family, nieces, nephews and close friends. Thelma was born on October 1, 1920 in Winnipeg. She spent her early years in Riverview and also lived in Norwood and Tuxedo. She worked for the City of Winnipeg and the Department of National Defense. Meals On Wheels and St. Boniface Hospital benefitted from her volunteer work. She enjoyed the Symphony, Theatre and the Opera. Thelma enjoyed her grandchildren and was very proud of them. She enjoyed the many trips she and Stuart took and they enjoyed many summers at their cottage. Falcon Lake was very special to Thelma. Thelma will be remembered for her kindness to others and for her special sense of style and elegance. We love you and miss you Mom. A memorial service was held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 15 at Neil Bardal Inc., 984 Portage Ave., Aubrey Street entrance.
