TONY (ANTON) PENNER It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Tony Penner, on September 15, 2000, at his residence in Oakbank, Man., at the age of 55 years. He was born August 24, 1945, in Paraguay, South America. He was predeceased by his son Stanley, his mother, two brothers, one sister and his mother-in-law. He is survived by his beloved wife Agnes; children, Jaqueline, James, Sherri and Steven; his father Ben S. Penner and five brothers, six sisters and their families as well as his wifes family. Viewing will take place on Monday, September 18, from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, Man., with a devotional to follow. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 19, at 2:00 p.m. at the Silberfeld C.M. Church with Rev. Cornie Ginter and John Penner officiating. Interment will take place in the churchyard cemetery. Viewing one hour prior to service. Should friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to a charity of ones choice.
