IDA ALICE GERRARD (nee LEVESQUE) Peacefully, with her five daughters at her side, Ida Gerrard, beloved wife of the late Roger Pierre, passed away on September 16, 2000 at the Tache Centre, at the age of 72 years. She will be sadly missed by her daughters, Jeanette (Rob), Lucille (Walt), Diane (Wayne), Lauraine (Dwayne) and Michelle (Doug) her loving grandchildren, Marc, Laurie, Jamie, Derek, Danielle, Nicholas, Jennifer, Natalie and two great-grandchildren, Alexis and Ashley. She is also survived by her sister and best friend in Winnipeg, Marie (Jim) Beith; sister Irene and brothers, Leo, Maurice and Andy. Prayers will be held on Tuesday, September 19 at 7:00 p.m. in the Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 Des Meurons Street. The funeral service will also be held at Desjardins Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, September 20 at 1:00 p.m. Interment will take place at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. A very special thank you to all the staff of 2ABC, Tache Centre for their compassion, thoughtfulness and tender care.
