Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySTEVE NICKOLIEVICH Peacefully, on September 15, 2000, Steve Nickolievich passed away at the St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 81. Steve was predeceased by his wife Pauline in November 1999. He leaves to mourn one daughter Shirley Friesen (Jake) of Surrey, B.C., two sons, Ron Nickolievich and Chris Nickol (Gayle) of Winnipeg; grandchildren, Grant Friesen (Michelle) and Paul Friesen of British Columbia, Jennifer, Jayson and Brett Nickol and one great-granddaughter Madison Friesen. Dad loved his carpentry work and when he wasnt building or fixing something, he enjoyed gardening, playing cards and spending time with his family. Prayers will be held on Monday, September 18, at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated on Tuesday, September 19, at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Eucharist Ukrainian Catholic Church, Watt Street and Munroe Avenue, with Rev. Fr. Darren Kawiuk officiating. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Allan Grabinski, Taras Machula, James Nickols, Jeremy Nickols, Dan and Gordon Stelman. The family wishes to thank the staff on 7AW and 8A Palliative at SBGH. Cropo Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements, 586-8044.
