Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWINNIFRED FAY DICKINSON Peacefully, on Sunday, September 17, 2000, Winnifred Fay Dickinson, a resident of Beacon Hill Lodge, passed away. Win, the youngest of seven children, was predeceased by all her sisters and brothers, Vivian Childerhose, Lyall Morrison, Burnett (George) Dickinson, Dorothy Forbes, Marvel Shantz, and Lester Dickinson. She is survived by nieces and nephews, Marjorie McKinnon (Dennis) and family of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, David Shantz (Betty) and family of Englewood, Colorado, Judy Cochran and family of Burlington, Ontario and Shirley Oglow (Nick) and family of Castlegar, B.C. Born in Selkirk, Manitoba, Win was raised and educated in Selkirk and Winnipeg. Win worked for many years in the offices of Security Land, a real estate and insurance firm. Finally she dedicated over seven years to the Department of Communication Disorders, Manitoba Rehabilitation Centre, Health Sciences Centre, before retiring early for health reasons. Win will be fondly remembered by her family and friends as a cheerful, generous and caring individual with a wonderful sense of humour and mischief. Cremation and private family interment at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made to McClure Place, 533 Greenwood Place, Winnipeg R3G 3M1.
