WILLIAM "BILL" CHAPMAN 1938 - 2000 Suddenly on Monday, September 9, 2000, at his home in Surrey, BC, William James Edwin "Bill" Chapman, 61 years, of Surrey, BC, formerly of Morden went to his eternal rest. He leaves to mourn his passing his mother Mary Chapman of Morden; two daughters, Leanne and Doug Bartley of Carman, Jennifer Chapman of Virden; one son Jeff and Jennifer Chapman of Winnipeg; one granddaughter Taylor Bartley of Carman; two sisters, Margaret and Stan Cove of Roland, Cathie and Charlie Vanstone of Miami; one sister-in-law Gaynor Mitchell of Vancouver. He was predeceased by father William "Bill" in 1986, and brother John in 1994. Cremation has taken place. Memorial service will be held on Friday, September 22 at 2:00 p.m. at the Wiebe Funeral Chapel, 150 Thornhill St., Morden with Rev. Bob Gilbert officiating. Ash interment will follow at the Hillside Cemetery, Morden. If friends so desire, donations may be made to the Morden Foundation (for Minor Sports).
