Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPAULINE HINTZ With sorrow, the family of Pauline announces her passing on September 17, 2000 at East Gate Lodge, in Beausejour. She leaves to mourn her four children, Elsie (Leonard Schreyer), Hertha (Guenter Jahn), Hilda (Lawrence Staska) and Reinhart (Marie) Hintz; as well as four grandchildren, Randy (Donna), Jim (Cheryl), Darrell (Chantelle) Schreyer and Heather (Yvon) Remillard. She will also be missed by her eight great-grandchildren, Cory, Christy, Kelly, Jennifer, Brett, Madison, Quinn Schreyer and Jocelyne Remillard. She was predeceased by her husband Henry; two brothers, Karl and Gottlieb and two sisters, Flora and Emily. She has her sister Amalie Zwar; brother Henry Grenke, sister-in-law Helene Hintz, as well as many nephews, nieces and friends to mourn her passing. She was born on February 14, 1905 in Wolhnyien, Poland. From 1914-18 her whole family was exiled to Siberia. In 1918, they returned to Wolhnyien and in 1927 she came alone to Canada. On January 16, 1931, she was married to her husband, Henry and together they farmed in Golden Bay for 30 years. In 1966, they retired to Beausejour. After her husband died, she moved to Stoney Plains Terrace and later to East Gate Lodge. Funeral services will be held at Sobering Funeral Chapel, Park Ave. E. Beausejour, on Thursday September 21 at 2:00 p.m. Viewing will be prior to the service. Officiating will be Pastor Jeff Kilmartin. Pallbearers will be Randy, Jim and Kelly Schreyer and Alfred Hintz, Lloyd Voss and Yvon Remillard. Paulines son and sons-in-law will be honorary pallbearers. If friends so desire a donation may be made to East Gate Lodge or Elim Baptist Church. MOTHER You can only have one mother, Patient, kind and true. No other friend in all the world, Would be so true to you. For all her loving kindness, She asked nothing in return. If all the world deserted us, To Mother we would turn. To those who have a Mother, Treasure her with care, For you will never miss her, Till you know that shes not there. Special thanks to Dr. Zeiler and all the wonderful caregivers at East Gate Lodge.
