PAUL J.S. NENKA With great sadness we announce the passing of Paul J.S. Nenka on September 17, 2000 at Seven Oaks Hospital. Paul was born on November 17, 1940 in Woodridge, MB and grew up in Sundown, MB and later moved to Winnipeg in 1959 where he resided. He was a very kind, gentle, loving and generous person. He treated everyone equally and enjoyed his life and family to the fullest. One of his favourite pastimes was his weekend get-away to the farm in Sundown, MB, where he loved to hunt. He was a "Paul-of-all-trades", there was nothing he wouldnt try to fix. Paul was employed at Winnipeg Elevator (Midland) for over 20 years where he made many friends and due to his illness he was forced to retire. He met Dorilda in 1959 and they were married on September 26, 1964. They began their family with Nelson in 1966, Rene in 1970 and Cindy in 1975. Paul enjoyed his family and the times they spent on his "spur of the moment" trips. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife Dorilda; children, Nelson (Angie), Rene (Marie), Cindy (Dave) four beautiful grandchildren, Courtnie, Jarrett, Josh, and Gavin; his beloved mother Mary; three brothers, Mike (Helen) of Sioux Lookout, ON, Maurice of Surrey, BC and Bobby of Port Coquitlam, BC; two sisters, Betty (Nick) of Gimli, MB and Edna of Toronto, ON, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Paul was predeceased by his father Stephen in 1995. According to Pauls wishes, cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held on Friday, September 22, at 2:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Honourary Pallbearers will be Martin Peters, Hubert Verrier, Johnny and Kevin Nenka, Harry Lazarenko, Bill Crossman and Michael Zakowich. Family gives special thanks to the staff on 5th floor U4&5 for the wonderful care that was given. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made in Pauls memory to the Seven Oaks Hospital Foundations, 2300 McPhillips St., Wpg., R2V 3M3. • My sympathy to the family from my husband and myself. We had a lovely visit in Calgary at your brother Bob and Michele's place and enjoyed your mom and the others. Very sad to know he has left us. cousin Joan - Posted by: JOAN bELICK (COUSIN) on: Dec 16, 2013
