Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCHRISTINA M. VANN Christina passed away at the age of 85 on September 4, 2000 after a short illness. Christina married Norman Robert Vann at Clanwilliam, MB in 1932. After farming at Bethany, they moved to Winnipeg where Christina worked as a Nurses Aid until retirement to Victoria, BC. Due to Normans bad health they returned to Winnipeg. Christina will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by sons, Donald N. Vann (Brenda) Winnipeg, MB, Robert A. Vann (Linda) Winnipeg, MB; Daughter Marleen M. Hamlin (Ross) Winnipeg, MB; sister Beatrice Wilson Winnipeg, MB; sisters-in-law, Vi Quinn, Winnipeg, MB and Blanche Boyd, Selkirk, MB; ten grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Norman and brother Harold Quinn. Christina loved gardening. Family were her first love and the grandchildren were such a joy to her. Funeral Service was held Saturday, September 9 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Johns Anglican with Rev. Pete Falk officiating. Pallbearers were Barry Butler, Bob Jundt, Jim LeBoutillier, Trevor Vann, Bruce Vann, Tony Nunes. Sparrow Funeral Service in care of arrangements.
