WILTRUD ROMAN Wiltrud Roman (nee Schneider) of Halton Hills, Ont., on Monday, September 18, 2000 at the Milton General Hospital in her 73rd years. After a lengthy illness she died peacefully, surrounded by her loving husband and all her children. She leaves to mourn her and rejoice in her happy life, her husband Harold; sons, John, Robert and Richard; daughters, Katherine and Lise; their spouses and seven grandchildren, all deeply devoted to their mother and grandmother, also brother Hans Schneider and wife of Selkirk, Man; the Romano family of Gonor, Man., and the descendants of her sister Elisabeth Schilling who predeceased her in 1993, many nieces, nephews, and cousins, and a host of friends. Wiltrud brought joy into the lives of all the many people she touched from her earliest childhood up to the day of her death. Her sunny disposition, her warm heart, and an innate ability to enthusiastically share the interests of everyone, enriched the lives of all. The family has appreciated the concern and assistance received from many family members and friends, and is especially grateful to Wiltruds niece Charlotte Koso who stood by her aunt during her illness for many months and cared for her day and night in the final days and hours of her life. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 21 at Holy Rosary Church, Milton, Ont.
