TINA SKOTNICKI Saturday, September 16, 2000, six days after her 96th birthday, Tina Skotnicki died at Middlechurch Home. Tina is survived by three of her sisters, Kay Martel, Jean Skotnicki and Terry Janik. Born in Poland in 1904, she came to Canada with her parents a few years later. Tina grew up in Lorette, MB and lived all of her adult life in Winnipeg. She worked as a cook and in a laundry but it was to her family she devoted her life. Tina was an original lady and will be missed and remembered by those who love her. The family would like to thank the staff at Middlechurch Home for taking such good care of her in her final years. Vigil prayers will be held 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, September 20 at Bardal Funeral Home, 843 Sherbrook St. Funeral mass 10:00 a.m. Thursday, September 21 at Notre Dame de Lorette Parish, 474 Dawson Rd., Lorette.
